Lemon Belgian Waffles With Berry Syrup – Recipe Wise

Ingredients

• 1 cup cake flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg , freshly grated
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 2 lemons , juice and zest of
• 3 large eggs , separated
• 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/2 cup light corn syrup
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 lb berries ( fresh or frozen-raspberry is my favorite )
