- 1 pint chopped or smashed fig preserves (with syrup)
- 1 cup and 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup buttermilk
