• 1/2 cup vodka
• 1/2 cup chicken stock or broth
• 2 (14.5-ounce) cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes
• 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
• 2 tablespoons fresh basil, julienned, plus more, to taste, for garnish
• parmesan cheese, optional, to taste, shaved, for garnish
