Cranberry-Orange Conserve

Ingredients

• 2 large oranges
• 1 cinnamon stick, crushed
• 1 teaspoon whole cloves
• 4 cups cold water
• 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
• 4 cups granulated sugar
• 2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
• 2 pounds (8 cups) fresh whole cranberries, washed and stemmed
• 1 cup dark raisins
• 1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
