Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 Tbsp Chinese Five Spice powder (Penzeys brand recommended)
  • 1-2 Tbsp ground ginger, ground cinnamon, or a combination of both
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups quick oats (1-minute oats)
  • 1 cup raisins, golden raisins, or dried cranberries
