• 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour, sifted for lightness
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
• 1 ½ cups M&M Candies, Classic milk chocolate M&Ms preferred
• Extra for topping, ½ cup pressed on top before baking for visible candy crunch
