Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 4 cloves garlic (minced)
• 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
• 2 28-ounce cans whole tomatoes
• 1 teaspoon honey
• 1 teaspoon EACH: salt and pepper
• 1 lb lean ground beef
• 1 large egg
• ½ cup breadcrumbs, quick oats, or almond flour (see notes)
• ½ cup chicken stock
• ¼ cup grated onion (use the juices)
• ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
• 1 teaspoon EACH: Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
