Ingredients

• 4 1/2 pounds pickling cucumbers
• 1.5 pounds white onions
• 1/3 cup pickling salt
• 8 cups water
• 4 cups ice
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 1/2 tablespoons mustard seeds
• 1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric
• 1 teaspoon celery seed
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 3/4 teaspoons of crushed red pepper flakes
• 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
• 1 cup white vinegar
