• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 4 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp sugar
• 4 tbsp bacon grease (chilled or room temperature)
• 3/4 to 1 cup cold whole buttermilk
• 2 tbsp butter, melted for brushing (optional)
