Boxing Day Rolls – Simmer + Sauce

Ingredients

• One (14-ounce) box of frozen Dufour Classic Puff Pasty or similar, defrosted
• 1 pound pork sausage
• 1/4 cup yellow onion, finely diced
• 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh thyme, finely chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 1 teaspoon salt
• Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• Dash of cayenne pepper
• 1 egg, lightly beaten, for egg wash
