Cranberry Wassail recipe: My mother used to make this in the winter. It would fill the house with the most wonderful smell.
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 2 quarts water boiling
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 2 pints cranberry juice cocktail
- red food coloring
- apples sliced
- vodka optional
