• 1½-2 cups lukewarm water
• 2 cloves garlic, chopped
• ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
• (1) 24 ounce jar tomato passata purée
• ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, torn
• Pinch of red chili flakes
• Salt and pepper to taste
