Pumpkin Cookies III recipe for managing PCOS and pregnancy on Fertility Chef
Recipe by Terry This recipe was given to me by a very sweet friend of mine who is 86 years old. My children (6 of them) love this cookie. Frost with a powdered sugar and milk frosting when cool.
Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
