Ingredients

• Orange Butter Cookies
• 1 C unsalted butter (softened to room temperature, 2 sticks; 230g)
• 3/4 C confectioners’ sugar (90g)
• 1 1/2 Tbsp orange zest (about 1 orange)
• 1 large egg (at room temperature)
• 1 large egg yolk (at room temperature)
• 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 2 C all-purpose flour (plus more as needed for rolling)
• optional: coarse sugar for topping
• Chocolate Ganache:
• 1/2 C heavy cream (120ml)
• 4- oz semi-sweet chocolate bar (finely chopped, 113g)
