- 50 grams of butter or I used flora light instead.
- 200 grams of porridge oats.
- 500 grams of plain flour.
- 500 grams of strong wholemeal bread flour.
- 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds.
- 2 teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda.
- 2 teaspoons of salt.
- 1 litre of buttermilk.
