Capers are so delicious, but I can't grow them up here in the north. So, what to do? Why not make elderberry capers instead!
Ingredients
- 2 cups (1/2 liters) unripe elderberries
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups ( 3 1/2 dl) water
- 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- around 3 1/2 (1/2 dl) tbsp vinegar essence
