FRESH BASIL PESTO - Community Kitchen
Fresh basil pesto pasta is a dinnertime favorite in my house. During the summer months, I often serve it with grilled shrimp.

- 4 large bunches of fresh basil, stalks removed
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 C pine nuts, toasted
- 1/4 C freshly grated Parmesan or Pecorino
- 1 t lemon zest
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1/4 C olive oil
- dash of salt
