Apple Cider Cake

Ingredients

• ¾ cup dried cranberries
• 1 ½ cups hot apple cider
• 1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour
• 2 1/3 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 tsp ground cinnamon
• ½ tsp ground allspice
• ½ tsp ground nutmeg
• ¼ tsp ground cloves
• ½ cup unsalted butter (cold and cut into small cubes)
• ½ cup light brown sugar
• 1 large egg
• 6-8 tbsp milk
• 1 granny smith apple (peeled, cored and diced)
