• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 ½ teaspoons ground cardamom, more for sprinkling
• 1 ½ teaspoons ground ginger
• 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 6 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 6 tablespoons very soft butter
• 1 cup sugar
• ¼ cup molasses
• 1 large egg
