Guinness Bread - Castlewood House Dingle
Guinness Bread - a really lovely easy to make recipe for a rich, moist bread rich with treacle and Guinness. A firm favourite.
Ingredients
- 250g Wholemeal flour
- 60g Plain or Cream Flour
- 60g Porridge Oats – plus extra to sprinkle on top of bread
- 30g Butter
- 1 tsp Bread Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- 3 dessertspoons of Black Treacle
- 100ml Guinness
- 150ml Milk
