Ingredients

• 1/2 cup Vidalia onions, chopped
• 1/2 cup olive oil
• 3 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
• 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
• 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
• 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1 (10-ounce) package fresh spinach
• 2 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
• 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
• 1 cup candied pecans, homemade or store-bought, chopped, can substitute pecan halves, toasted
