• 3/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 1 large egg
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
• For the Buttercream Frosting:
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 2 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2-3 tablespoons milk
• Sanding sugar (for sprinkling)
• Jelly beans (for the nose)
• Black gel decorating frosting (for the eyes)
• Mini chocolate cookies (for the hat)
• Mini peanut butter cups (for the hat)
