Ingredients

• 12.3 oz Jarlsberg® Original cheese (grated) (about 1 1/2 cups)
• 2 shallots (finely chopped)
• 1 clove garlic (minced)
• 1.4 tbsp butter (about 0.7 oz or 1/2 tablespoon)
• 2 tbsp flour (about 0.5 oz)
• 1 2/3 cups milk (about 13.5 fl oz)
• 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard (about 1 1/2 teaspoons)
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
• Salt and pepper (to taste)
• 10 1/2 oz macaroni (about 1 1/2 cups dry pasta)
• 3 1/2 oz bacon (about 1/3 cup, diced)
• 4 spring onions (sliced)
