Pantry Cookies recipe - from the Southern Culinary History Family Cookbook

Ingredients

• 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/3 cup self-rising flour
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 sticks of butter or 1/3 cup oil
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 2 tsps vanilla extract
• For the rest of the ingredients go to the pantry and put in anything your family likes. I have tried the following:
• 1 cup quick-cooking oats
• 1 cup walnuts or pecans
• 1/2 cup chopped dates
• 1/2 cup coconut
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup craisins
• 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
• 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or other goodies
