Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 3/4 cup unsalted butter
• 2 3/4 cups light brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/4 cup milk
• 2 tablespoons vanilla
• 3 cups plus 2 tablespoons flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/14 teaspoons baking soda
• 3-4 cups chocolate chips
