Ingredients

• 12 chicken drumsticks
• 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) milk
• 2 tsp (10 mL) cornstarch
• 3/4 cup (175 mL) ketchup
• 1/4 cup (50 mL) packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup (125 mL) red wine vinegar
• 2 tbsp (30 mL) Worcestershire sauce
• 1 large onion, finely chopped
• 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) grated fresh gingerroot or 1 tsp (5 mL) ground ginger
• 1 tsp (5 mL) crushed dried red peppers
