Creamy Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 large finely chopped onion
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1 bay leaf
• 4 cardamons
• 1 ½ tbsp garlic paste mix
• 1 ½ tbsp ginger paste mix
• 1 tsp ground cumin
• 1 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp red chili powder
• 2 tsp tomato paste
• 1 medium diced tomato
• 2 tsp salt
• 2 - 3 pounds of boneless and skinless chicken thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
• 1 ¼ cups of heavy cream
• ½ tsp sugar
• ¼ cup water
• 2 tbsp cilantro
