Apple Bread

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 3 eggs
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 cup applesauce
• 1/4 cup dark molasses (treacle)
• 1 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts
