• 1 cup room temperature butter
• 1.5 cups sugar (you can use brown sugar instead, optional)
• 2 eggs
• 4 large apples, peeled and chopped small
• 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
• 1 cup all purpose flour
• 1 cup white wheat flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
