Wolfgang Puck's Granita Recipes

Ingredients

• For the almond milk
• 1 quart milk
• 1/2 pound almond meal
• 1/2 pound blanched whole almonds
• 2 tablespoons almond extract
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 2 ounces almond paste
• 2 ounces sugar
• 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
• 8 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
• Sugar
• 4 sprigs fresh basil
• 2-1/2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur such as Grand Marnier
