Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients

• 1½ pounds boneless pork loin, cut into ½ inch cubes
• ¼ cup soy sauce
• 1 egg-slightly beaten
• ¾ cup cornstarch
• 1½ cups vegetable oil
• 1 small onion, cut into 6 wedges
• 1 small green pepper, cut into 1-inch cubes
• 1 - 8 oz can pineapple chunks, drained, reserve juice
• 1 large tomato, cut into 8 wedges
• ½ cup white wine vinegar
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 2 teaspoons cornstarch dissolved in 4 teaspoons water
