Prune & Walnut Turnovers

Ingredients

• For the Dough:
• – 2 cups all-purpose flour
• – 1/4 cup sugar
• – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• – 2 sticks cold Real California salted butter, cut into small pieces
• – 1 (8-ounce) brick cold Real California cream cheese, cut into small pieces
• – 6-8 tablespoons ice cold fresh orange juice from 1-2 California oranges
• – 1 large egg yolk beaten with 1 tablespoon water, for egg wash
• – 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar
• – 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• – Powdered sugar, for dusting
• For the Filling:
• – 3/4 cup California walnuts, toasted
• – 1 cup pitted California prunes
• – Zest of 1 California orange
• – 1/4 cup California honey
• – 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice or bourbon
