- 40 g butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 slices bacon, rind removed & finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 cups skim milk
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups tasty cheese, grated
- salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
