Ingredients

• 12 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
• 3/4 cup plus 1 tbsp granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
• 1 large egg, room temperature
• 1 tsp vanilla (use clear vanilla extract if you have it)
• 2 & 1/4 cups all purpose flour, spooned and leveled
• 3/4 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
• 1/2 tsp kosher salt
• 3/4 cup rainbow sprinkles (see Chef’s Notes below)
