Ingredients
- 2 Spanish onions, diced
- 1 white onion, diced
- 1 Vidalia onion, diced
- 12 to 14 pearl onions (see note)
- 1 cup oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 3/4 tablespoon gourmet black pepper
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- flour, for dusting
- 1 roll Gefen Puff Pastry Dough, thawed
- 1 egg, plus 1 additional beaten yolk for egg wash
- minced dehydrated onion, such as Gefen Minced Onions
- Gefen Sesame Seeds
