Chipotle Sausage Rolls - Easy with a delicious smoky kick
If you've never made your own chipotle sausage rolls, it's about time you did! They are possibly the best snack to have to with a nice cold beer.
Ingredients
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- Olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Gran Luchito Chipotle Chilli Paste
- A handful of sage leaves, roughly chopped
- 450g / 1 lb pack of pre rolled puff pastry, at room temperature
- 6 good quality sausages (we used pork and apple)
- 1 egg, beaten
- A splash of milk
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
