Ingredients: 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour; ½ teaspoon baking powder; ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt; ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened; 1 egg; ¾ cup granulated sugar; 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (if you love almond extract like I do, add that into the mix too!); 3 ¾ cups confectioner’s sugar; 3 large egg whites; ½ teaspoon cream of tartar; Pinch of salt; Optional: fun food coloring
