• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups peeled and diced apples (approximately 2 medium apples)
