Fruit filled cookies (This is real old reaccept)

Ingredients

• 1 cup of shortening (Crisco)
• 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
• 2 eggs
• 3 � cups of all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking soda
• � cut of sour milk
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla
• � cup of candied cherries
• � cup of white raisins
• � cups of nuts (black walnuts) (use your own nuts or leave them out)
