• 100 g honey (traditional buckwheat or wildflower preferred)
• 50 g granulated sugar
• 1 egg
• 40 g unsalted butter
• ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• ½ tsp ground ginger
• ¼ tsp ground cardamom
• ¼ tsp ground cloves
• Pinch of salt
• 100 g icing sugar
• 2 tbsp warm water or lemon juice
