Strawberry Shortcake - Baking At Home

Ingredients

• 3 C. all-purpose white flour, plus more for shaping the dough
• 1 1/2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
• 2 tsp. Rumford® Baking Powder
• 1/2 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Soda
• 3/4 tsp. salt
• 3/4 C. very cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
• 1 1/3 C. buttermilk (or whole or reduced-fat milk, combined with 2 tsp. lemon juice), plus a little more if needed
• Berries:
• 6 to 7 C. fresh strawberries, washed, hulled and chopped (about 2 1/4 pounds untrimmed)
• 1/2 to 3/4 C. granulated sugar, or to taste
• Lightly sweetened whipped cream
• Whole or halved fresh strawberries for garnish
