- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (I use pecans.)
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Splenda sugar substitute
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 whole egg
- 1 egg white
