Daphne Oz's Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

• 2¼ cups unbleached all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and cooled to room temp
• 1 cup packed light brown sugar
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs plus
• 1 egg yolk
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
• 1 pint good quality vanilla ice cream (optional)
