Choc Chip/ Sugar Cookie recipe by Nabeelah B

Ingredients

• - 1 cup softened butter
• - 1 egg
• - 1 tablespoon vanilla essence (you can add your own choice of essence. I tend to use almond or lemon instead of vanilla sometimes)
• - ½ teaspoon baking powder
• - 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda/baking soda
• - 2 ¾ cups flour
• - 1 ½ cups sugar
• - pinch of coarse salt (to balance)
• - 1 cup choc chips or Chopped chocolate of your choice. (personally prefer chopped than chips)
