- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 360g plain flour
- 2.5 tsp baking powder
- 1tsp ground Earl Grey tea leaves
- Pinch of salt
- 5 medium eggs
- 75g butter
- 150g caster sugar
- Juice and zest of 3 lemons
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 150ml milk
- 3 tsp culinary lavender flowers
- 300g icing sugar
- 450g unsalted butter room temperature
- Purple food colour (optional)
- Lavender flowers to decorate (optional)
