SPAGHETTI ALLE COZZE (Spicy spaghetti with mussels)

Ingredients

• 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
• 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
• 2 red bell peppers, cored, seeded, and cut into 1/4-inch dice
• 1 tablespoon hot red pepper flakes
• 24 Prince Edward Island mussels, scrubbed and rinsed
• 1 1/2 cups dry white wine
• 1 pound spaghetti
• 1/4 cup finely chopped Italian parsley
