Creamy One Pot Lemon Pasta – Grand Fete

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1/4 cup shallot, finely minced
• 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
• 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
• 1/4 cup white wine
• 1-1/2 cups chicken broth
• 1 cup half-and-half, warmed in the microwave, or stovetop to room temperature
• 8 ounces angel hair pasta
• 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• Basil leaves, julienne cut for garnish
• Lemon zest, for garnish
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs toasted in a skillet with 2 tablespoons butter until golden brown, for garnish
