Chocolate Gourmand: Maple Pecan Caramel
The smell of these caramels is amazing. Unfortunately, this recipe has crystallized overnight each time I have made it. Any suggestions are welcome.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups pure maple syrup
- 2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon, unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup roughly chopped pecans
