• 1/2 - 3/4 cup sweet yellow onion fine chopped
• 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 2 tbsp white sugar
• 2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp dry mustard
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp ground pepper black or white
• 3/4 cup water
• 1/3 cup vinegar white distilled or apple cider
