- 1 cup finely sifted white flour (can use white whole wheat if you choose)
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- grated peel of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- extra powdered sugar to garnish
